Christy Kinsman’s The Little House Shoppe at Copps Hill Center (113 Danbury Road) is having a Holiday Trunk Show and Sale on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Patrons will receive 10% off their entire purchase, and 10% of each purchase will be donated to the Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association (RVNA). Next year RVNA will celebrate its centennial, and Ms. Kinsman sees this as a “great kick-off” to honoring their 100 years of service and all they do for the community.

“We invite everyone to join us for jewels, nibbles and boutique,” said Ms. Kinsman. “We will debut new creations from four fabulous local women designers whose lines we regularly carry. The women will be present to talk with customers.”

Their lines are: Flowery Little Finds, vintage-inspired jewelry, accessories, stationery and holiday ornaments by Amy Goodwin; Eve7, meticulously detailed jewelry with semi-precious stones by Eve Gonsiorek; New Vintage by Vera-Ellen, handcrafted necklaces and headbands for holiday festivities by Vera O’Malley, and Yesteryear, one-of-a-kind vintage clothing and accessories by Melissa Hunter.

The “nibbles” portion of the event will feature cookies from Elizabella’s, Elizabeth Eckhardt’s new bakery on Bailey Avenue, and fare from other local establishments. The first 100 patrons will receive a gift bag with special offerings from area merchants.
